Lullaby has educated many children for over 20 years, and was founded by Sheri Gebbia, a parent of four wonderful children. Sheri started her home daycare business in Laurel, Maryland when she needed to stay home with her two young boys. In 1995, Sheri moved to Hockessin, DE and continued her business in her home at that location, caring for and educating children from birth to 12 years. Always wanting to live at the beach and seeing a need in the Lewes area for quality infant care and education, Sheri and her family moved to her vacation home located in Rehoboth Beach. She was fortunate enough to find a wonderful location across from Beebe Hospital for her dream of caring for and educating infants and fulfilling a need in the Lewes area to provide quality infant care and education.
Our History
Our small Lullaby House expanded to a much larger Lullaby Learning Center on April 2, 2012. Our school now accepts children from birth to 5 years old. Since the expansion our enrollment has skyrocketed, allowing us to form a team of qualified and experienced teachers, as well as a larger and more equipped facility to provide even more beneficial environments and experiences for our students!
